After 25 years writing and editing for newspapers and magazines in major markets, I launched my freelance career in 2008, specializing in health care. In fall, 2014, I added the title of editing instructor at Northwestern University, teaching Medill graduate students in a classroom where I once worked toward my undergrad degree.
